Spencer Clem — AVL Systems DesignerEst. 2026
Every word intelligible. Every note honest.
I design audio, video, and lighting systems for rooms people gather in. Rooms get modelled, systems get drawn, and the whole thing stands in the building before anything is installed.

Work
Rooms, before and after, with the drawings and the measurements that produced them.

Studio
Venues built to measurement and gear built to the manufacturer's real dimensions, modelled before anything ships.

Design
How a system gets designed here. Measurements in, signal flow and a patch sheet out.
How I work
How I work
Right is not a matter of taste
A system is right when every word is intelligible from the back row and every note is honest at the front. Everything else is decoration.
Drawn before it is built
Every system carries a full signal-flow diagram and a patch sheet. What plugs into what is settled on paper, and checked, before anything is ordered.
Modelled in your room
Measurements in, a rendered room out. Mains where they will actually hang, FOH where you will actually stand, coverage measured per seat.
Nothing hidden
Real manufacturers, real models, real dimensions. No house brands standing in for the real thing, and no part of the drawing you are not allowed to read.
Next step
Let’s build it right.
